I would start by underlining how important it is for the partners, who work together as a team on the same project, to know themselves personally. Apart from this chance each colleague has, I am proud that I got the chance to take part to a test drive in Sweden. Except for classic tests, I had the chance to test cars on snow as well and for me this has been a unique and exciting experience.
Most of the times software testing is restricted to some requirements, test cases, reports and a lot of documentation of the activity. But taking part to the implementation of the software in the car and the debates based on collected measurements, help very much in understanding the purpose and implication of the software on the behavior of the car.
The visit in Sweden has been a success from several points of view and I am glad that I had the chance to be a part of it. I also took part as a co-pilot, where I could notice the behavior of the car’s software. The experience was useful and motivating.
